We believe there is enough or too much gambling already in our communities. There’s no shortage of opportunities and additional casinos would merely increase problem gambling across the state.

Say No
to a Tri-Cities
Casino
We are a local alliance working to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our community by saying no to a Tri-Cities casino. Together, we’re working to prevent the rise in gambling addiction, increased crime, and mental health challenges that often come with expanded casino access. The Tri-Cities belongs to the people, not to a casino.

When is enough, enough?
There are already too many casinos in Washington. A Tri-Cities casino could lead to a rise in problem gambling, mental health challenges and crime right here in our community. This is why we ask you to join us and “Say No To A Tri-Cities Casino.”
Why We Are Against Casino Expansion
Problem Gambling
An estimated 90,000 adults in Washington are at risk for problem gambling, with BIPOC communities and individuals facing unemployment disproportionately affected.
Mental
Health
Problem gambling is strongly linked to mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.
Increased Crime
Studies show a clear connection between problem gambling and increased crime rates.
Economic Impact
People with lower levels of education and those experiencing unemployment are more vulnerable to gambling-related harm, further deepening economic inequality.
Sign our petition: Say No to a Tri-Cities Casino
We, the undersigned, support the Alliance to Preserve the Tri-Cities and strongly oppose a casino right here in our community.
The Tri-Cities deserves thoughtful development that protects our health, safety, and economic well-being, not projects that increase the risk of gambling addiction, crime, and mental health challenges.
A new casino would disproportionately harm vulnerable residents, especially those already struggling with unemployment or financial insecurity. There are already too many casinos in Washington. Our community is not the place for another.
We say NO to a Tri-Cities casino—and YES to a safer, healthier future for our families.
